My art education experiences include class instruction at Auburn University (design), the University of Alabama in Huntsville (painting, drawing and sculpture)  and Pensacola State College (ceramics).  The immersive nature of class instruction provided a solid base of understanding the respective techniques and introduced me to teachers that are lifelong sources of inspiration.  

The actual work of making art, simply put, is in the process of doing it; taking materials and manipulating them until an intuited "something" clicks, indicating the perfect shade of color or placement.  The end products of these efforts are what you see.
